New Yorkers Are Moving to Miami to Enjoy Summer Year-Round

Many New Yorkers are returning home after their annual vacations while others are soaking up the sun as we speak -- some fun in the sun is just what they need after working those long New York hours. Vacations are nice escape from the norm, but why should you have to see it end year after year? Before you know it, winter will be right around the corner and you'll once again be sitting in Starbucks with a hat and scarf and an overly-priced brew wishing it wasn't cold/snowing/hailing/sleeting/etc. So, the question you should be asking yourself is, "When should I make a move?" And there's no time like the present!

A wide variety of Miami condos will give you the opportunity to live in a place where you'll feel like you're on vacation year-round!:

The movies make winter in New York look like a fairytale, but those who have lived there know the truth. Once you get past the holiday season, it loses its magic. Yes, there all kinds of things to do in the metropolitan areas, and there are an abundance of gyms to stay active on the coldest of days. But truth be told, for several months a year, most people go to work, and then come home and hibernate. With the lack of sun comes lack of motivation, and when you have to bundle up in 10 layers, boots, gloves, scarves, and hats, it just seems easier to sit on the couch and watch reality TV.

Is that really the life you want? Because there are other options! Miami not only provides great weather 12 months out of the year, but there are plenty of opportunities for professionals seeking employment in the Miami area. Depending on your line of work, you could even keep your current job and telecommute, giving you the opportunity to live in sunny Miami while still getting a taste of the Big Apple every once in awhile.

New Yorkers, instead of spending the cold months complaining, do something about it now! Running the rat race to spend one week out of the year at the beach is backwards. Live at the beach and leave New York winters behind for good!
